Something that you’re immediately going to end up noticing about TropicalServer.com is the fact that it takes absolutely forever to load. That’s not a good sign.
It’s a red flag.
Rather than being incredibly easy to use, this site is a headache and a half when it comes to usability, all courtesy of the fact that it honestly just takes forever to load up.
This makes for a very dangerous situation, honestly. You’re going to end up signing up for a host that is not only slow on its own start-up page, but for your site, too.
This site doesn’t have a lot of information to offer about the TropicalServer company. Mostly, it just has a whole lot of nothing listed, and a bunch of blank promises.
It’s pretty dull.
If you’re looking for a reliable web host, you’ve got to go beyond the basic drivel about customer service. Sadly, that’s all this host is really seeming to focus on nowadays.
They don’t seem to have much focus when it comes to customers, and that comes out very clearly when you don’t even know how long this host has been around.
With this particular site, it’s going to be difficult for you to find anything beyond the basics. During the building of our TropicalServer guide, we found ourselves scratching our heads.
It’s not good.
The thing about this site is that you’ll have cPanel…but that’s about it. Even databases are limited here, and that means a whole lot of limited MySQL admin access.
That’s something that can really drag you down, and it just gets worse if you don’t have any sort of a site builder to aid you. This is a site that’s going to stop you cold.

The stand-out features here are….well, nothing. Sure, they seem to think that they’re all that, but what is really making them stand out from being just another generic host?
The answer: nothing.
The moment that a web host doesn’t have something unique about it is the moment that you should start getting skeptical. It just can’t survive without a little bit of oomph.
This site doesn’t even try for that, which really says a lot about the level of dedication that you’re going to end up seeing from the site administrators running this host.
Plan Pricing, Fail
It’s extremely important to find a web host that can actually fit into your budget, and sadly, this is a web host that’s not going to even come close with the subpar service it offers.
You need more.
This host’s most basic plan is still going to end up costing you a total of $15.95 monthly, which is obviously on the high side of things even before you consider what you’re getting.
You’re going to be limited in disk space to the tune of only 1GB, which is really not enough even for a very basic business site. This is going to be a really big issue.
As far as security goes, this is a web host that’s going to end up falling flat. Why? Because they don’t even talk about it, which is really going to be an issue for you overall.
You need to know more.
Even being able to know that this web host has the most basic in security up and running would be way more reassuring than them not even having any conversation about it.
That’s why this web host is just one big red flag after another, and should definitely be one that you keep in mind to avoid in the near future courtesy of this issue.
Speed That Doesn’t Work
As far as our TropicalServer review goes, it wouldn’t be complete without a proper speed test. That’s why we were kind of disappointed to give it a 6 out of 10 only.
It was slow.
After performing a standardized speed test on this particular host, we found that it ended up taking a total of 2.61 seconds to load up entirely, which was obviously slow.
This site also ended up having some uptime issues, and the final percentage that we found was only at 98.900%. This means that over 1% of the time, your site will be down.
User Support Flops Overall
Another issue that we found with this particular host originated in customer service, which led to a final score of only 6 out of 10 on our personal rating scale online.
It was no good.
The main issues with customer service on this particular host all came down to the fact that they just aren’t fast enough. Sometimes, responses would take up to 10 hours.
Another problem was in the fact that some of their answers would be canned, drop-down menu selection responses. It definitely needs some tweaking in order to be good.

TropicalServer.com: For Cpanel Hosting, It’s Just Not Going to Work
We were definitely not impressed with TropicalServer.com. This is just not a good web host, and it’s never going to be able to give you the cPanel hosting that you want.
As far as reliable, versatile hosting goes, this isn’t a web host that we’d ever recommend. It’s definitely laggy and it really isn’t up to date as you need your host to be.
Instead of wasting your time here, you should be checking out our number one web host online, GreenGeeks.com. It’s the best of the best, and it’s proven itself to be that.
You need a host that can really take you to the top, and we know that GreenGeeks can do that. It’s really the best for a reason, and you can see yourself skyrocket to the top!
